Pok’s fans will be pleased to hear that he is doing very well indeed. As I think you will be able to notice from the photos, he is growing up a little bit and has put on weight. His speech is markedly improved and he can string a short sentence of words together now. The older children, especially Dani and Hary, are helping him along too. He now enjoys sitting in on the beginners English class and is a little calmer. He is no where near as disruptive as he used to be.
Sometimes he can be found with the toddlers “helping”(?!) the nannies. Here, around the nursery age kiddies he has adopted a slightly superior stance, as if to say “I am much older and I in charge here”. He appoints himself toy monitor, porridge feeder, or baby walker. If the nannies try to dissuade him, he stands feet planted firmly apart, hands on his hips, sighing impatiently – according to Rath he started that comical habit in Singapore!
